Derek began his career as a Business Development Agent at Iron Insurance Partners. He is a graduate of Garden City Community College, where he played baseball for the BroncBusters. He also graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, where he received a BA in Sports Management.
Derek is an active member of the Salina Area Young Professionals and leads a team for Business Connections in Salina. He was hand selected to join State Autos nationally renowned Pacesetter Program in 2018. In the yearlong program, he earned the designation as a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist. Derek represents accounts in both Salina and Wichita as a broker and risk management consultant.
Derek is a native of Salina, KS, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and any outdoor sports.
